The essential food handler certification for kitchen, service and front-of-house staff, covering contamination, temperature control and personal hygiene.
What you'll learn
Course Description
Every person who handles open food needs a documented food hygiene qualification. This Level 2 course is the QCS Global food handler programme, condensed into a focused online module set that a new starter can complete in a single shift.
The course covers the four routes of contamination, the temperature danger zone and its practical control, personal hygiene and fitness to work, cleaning and disinfection, pest awareness, and the legal duties that sit on both the food handler and the business. Assessment is by multiple-choice questions at the end of each module plus a final paper.
It is written for catering, hospitality, retail food service and institutional kitchens, with examples drawn from Pakistani commercial kitchens rather than generic Western scenarios.
